BREAKING: ‘The Will Cain Show’ Shatters Records With Historic Fox News Debut

Weekdays at 4 p.m. ET | Fox News Channel

Fox News just made history. The newly launched “The Will Cain Show” has premiered to record-breaking numbers, becoming the most successful daytime debut in the network’s history.

Airing Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET, the show drew a massive 3.5 million total viewers, including 451,000 in the highly prized 25–54 age demographic. That accounts for 68% of all cable news viewers and a dominant 73% share of the key demo, more than doubling Fox’s typical ratings in that timeslot from 2024.

Will Cain, who built a loyal following as co-host of “FOX & Friends Weekend” and continues to host his popular podcast, is now stepping into the weekday spotlight with a format that blends news and opinion.

“I’m a curious person. This show is about transitioning from news to opinion, and I’ll be doing both—while also having fun,” Cain told Fox News Digital.

The Will Cain Show now leads into “The Five,” which itself drew a jaw-dropping 6 million viewers on Tuesday, proving Fox’s new afternoon lineup is a force to be reckoned with.

A New Approach: Honest Takes & Deep Dives

Cain promises a show that’s equal parts casual, thought-provoking, and evolutionary. While he plans to offer his unfiltered perspective on current events, he also wants to keep the audience informed and entertained with insightful reports and engaging conversations.

“Where we start may not be where we end up,” Cain said. “But the spirit of the show will remain—curious, real, and unapologetically honest.”

Cain has already interviewed a range of high-profile figures during his time with Fox, including former President Trump, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Barstool’s Dave Portnoy. The new show is expected to continue that trend, bringing on political heavyweights and cultural influencers alike.

Even before launch, Cain received strong words of support from within Fox and beyond. Trump himself posted online, saying Cain “has what it takes for success.”

“That kind of encouragement, especially from a former president, is incredibly flattering,” Cain said. “It reminds me that our voices matter and people are watching—even from the highest levels.”

Despite the pressure that comes with such a high-profile role, Cain says he’s keeping one piece of advice top of mind:

“The best thing I can do is be myself,” he said. “No imitation. Just authenticity.”
