Baby, don’t worry—everything is going to be okay!

Once Broken and Thrown Away, Baby Winston Is Now Running Free
Baby Winston is a four-month-old podenco who was once used for hunting—then discarded like trash. When rescuers found him, his tiny jaw was shattered on both sides. We may never know how it happened, but one thing was clear: to the hunter, Winston was nothing more than a broken tool, no longer useful.

But where some saw something worthless, others saw a life worth saving.
Despite the pain and trauma, Winston’s spirit hadn’t given up. His injuries were urgent, and necrotic tissue in his mouth meant that delaying surgery could lead to serious complications. Time was critical. With gentle hands and hopeful hearts, Winston was rushed into surgery.

The procedure was long and complex, but Winston pulled through with the strength of a fighter. Post-operative care was intense. He had to be monitored closely for signs of infection, but every day brought better news—Winston was healing beautifully.
Soon, he began exploring the hospital halls with curiosity and a wagging tail, showing no signs of discomfort. And then came the moment we were all waiting for—Winston was strong enough to leave the clinic.

Now, he’s living in the Big House, finally able to run, sniff, and play like any other puppy. Watching him explore his new world with bright eyes and a joyful heart is nothing short of magical. Each pawstep is a symbol of survival, hope, and a future reclaimed.
Winston’s journey isn’t just a recovery—it’s a transformation. From forgotten and broken to loved and thriving, his story is a powerful reminder of what compassion can do.

And this is only the beginning of his adventures.
Thank you—for believing in Winston, and for being part of the reason he now runs free.
