Walking Taco Casserole 😋😋

A fun and delicious twist on the classic taco, this casserole is packed with all the flavors you love in a taco but with a crunchy, cheesy, creamy finish. Perfect for family dinners or a crowd-pleasing meal!
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ pounds Ground Beef
- 1/3 large Onion, chopped
- 1 can Green Chilies (small can)
- 1 can Enchilada Sauce
- 2 ounces Cream Cheese
- 1 bag Fritos Corn Chips
- 1 bag Shredded Cheese
- ¾ cup Shredded Lettuce
- ½ cup Fresh Diced Tomatoes
- 16 ounces Salsa
- 8 ounces Sour Cream
Directions:
- Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat.
- Once browned, add the green chilies, enchilada sauce, and cream cheese to the beef mixture. Stir until the cream cheese is fully melted and everything is well combined.
- In a 9×13 inch baking pan, layer the following: start with a layer of Fritos chips, then add a layer of the meat mixture, followed by a generous amount of shredded cheese.
- Bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Once baked, top each serving with shredded lettuce, fresh diced tomatoes, salsa, and a dollop of sour cream as desired.
