- 2 packages (3.9 oz each) Jell-O chocolate flavor instant pudding mix
- 1 3/4 cups cold whole milk
- 1 8 oz container thawed frozen whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
For Garnish:
- 1/2 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Make the Crust:
- Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a ziplock bag and rolling with a rolling pin.
- Mix the crushed cookies with melted butter until well blended.
- Press the mixture firmly into a 9-inch pie dish. Refrigerate the crust for about 30 minutes to set.
2. Make the Filling:
- Whisk together both packages of pudding mix and 1 3/4 cups cold milk in a large bowl. Whisk for about 2 minutes, until it becomes thick and smooth.
- Spread half of the pudding mixture evenly over the chilled pie crust.
3. Make the Topping:
- Fold the remaining pudding with half of the whipped topping until well blended.
- Carefully spread this mixture over the pudding layer in the pie crust.
4. Finish the Pie:
- Spread the remaining whipped topping evenly over the top of the pie.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours to allow it to chill and set.
5. Garnish & Serve:
- Just before serving, sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the top for a fun and delicious garnish.
