Resilient Dog Named Justice Triumphs Over Adversity, Seeks Loving Forever Home

During an eviction carried out by the Sheriff’s Department, a heartbreaking discovery was made—a dog suffering from severe neglect inside the residence.

This poor animal had been tethered for years with a rope tightly fastened around its neck, left exposed to the elements and enduring immense hardship.
Justice’s condition was critical. Weighing only 35 pounds instead of a healthy 70, his body was covered in dried blood, fleas, and his ears were severely clogged.

He struggled to stand or walk, weakened by illness. His gums were pale, and he suffered from painful bloody urination.
Medical tests revealed multiple serious health issues, including heartworm disease, severe anemia, elevated white blood cells, low protein levels, high potassium, and a severe urinary tract infection.

Despite all these obstacles, Justice showed a remarkable spark of resilience, gently attempting to wag his tail.
Recently, Justice has made promising strides in his recovery. He bravely ventured out for a short walk, managing to stand and move steadily for nearly ten minutes, although still trembling.
His fighting spirit shines through, especially when he joyfully plays with his beloved stuffed animals—a sign he is reclaiming happiness and strength.

Justice is now on the road to healing and eagerly awaiting a forever home. If you’re looking for a brave companion who has overcome tremendous adversity, Justice could be the perfect addition to your family.
