Huddled inside a small doghouse outside a property, a tiny, hairless puppy was trying to hide from the world. She had been abandoned and left to fend for herself, terrified and in obvious pain.
Despite the experience and emotional resilience of the rescue workers, the pup’s condition was shocking. She wasn’t just neglected—she was physically broken.
Bald, Sick, and Afraid: The Reality She Lived
