But before they could even pack up, another emergency came in: a report of a dog injured in a road collision. The rescue team rushed to the new location.
This second dog was in visible pain and fear. A veterinarian on the scene quickly examined it and confirmed that, thankfully, the spine had not been damaged — though the leg was clearly injured.
The rescuers brought the dog into their care for recovery, beginning a treatment plan focused on rest and healing.
Within a few days, the injured pup started standing on its hurt leg, showing real progress. Its resilience gave everyone hope that it would soon be back on its feet.
