Although Chris’s family is based in Nevada, his 96-year-old grandmother lives in the Philippines. Everything seemed fine until the caregivers in her area became unavailable. While his family considered sending her to a nursing home, Chris was resolute in going above and beyond. He made the remarkable decision to leave everything behind, moving back to the Philippines to take on the role of his grandmother’s full-time caregiver.

In a touching interview with ABS-CBN, Chris shared his deep affection and concern for his grandmother. He expressed, “She took care of me, and I would hate to see her go to home care, which is where most grandparents go in America.
