It’s always incredible when a newborn does something unexpected. One mother from Pennsylvania was left in awe when her three-day-old baby girl displayed abilities far beyond her age.
Samantha Mitchell, 34, captured a remarkable moment when her newborn daughter, Nyilah Daise Tzabari, demonstrated surprising strength. In a video, the tiny infant could be seen lifting her head and making crawling motions—milestones that typically take months to achieve. “I’ve been around children for over 20 years, and I’ve never seen anything like this,” Mitchell said, highlighting how extraordinary Nyilah’s movements were.
Born Stronger Than Expected
Nyilah was born on March 2, 2023, at 43 weeks—three weeks past her due date—arriving at a healthy 7 pounds, 6 ounces. Her incredible strength was first noticed by Mitchell’s mother, who urged her to record the moment.
“No one would have believed me if I didn’t film it,” Mitchell explained. Her fiancé, Ofer, wasn’t present at the time, and she knew he’d need proof to believe it himself.
In the video, tiny Nyilah pushes up on her arms, lifts her head, and moves forward—all skills babies usually develop between six to nine months old. “This wasn’t just a random moment. She has been incredibly strong from day one,” Mitchell added.
Rapid Development Continues
Nyilah continued to impress her family with her fast-paced development. At just 18 days old, she rolled from her stomach to her back. By two months, she could roll from her back to her stomach. Now, at three months, she is already standing with assistance.
“She refuses to sit down,” Mitchell shared. “We’re not pushing her to stand, but she won’t bend her knees. She’s unbelievably determined.”
Her growth isn’t just physical—Nyilah also started trying to mimic words at just six weeks old. “She babbles back as if she’s trying to copy what we say,” Mitchell explained. “She even reacts to laughter, making sounds as if she wants to join in on the joke.”
Social Media Goes Wild
When Mitchell and Tzabari posted the video on TikTok, it quickly went viral, racking up 6.6 million likes. Commenters were stunned by Nyilah’s strength and joked about her speedy development.
“She’ll be working by next week at this rate!” one person quipped. Another added, “That baby has been here before—she’s got things to do!”
Tzabari, a first-time father, admitted he initially thought this was normal. “I didn’t realize how rare it was until people started pointing it out,” he said.
As Nyilah continues to amaze, her parents are eager to see what she’ll accomplish next. “She’s such a happy, smiley baby,” Mitchell said. “Every day, she surprises us, and we can’t wait to see what’s coming.”
